On October 24th 2018 the Tallahassee Chan Center purchased two new properties at 1338 and 1344 Linda Ann Drive. These two properties are adjacent to our existing 4.6 acre lot behind the main center property on Paul Russell Road.
1338 Linda Ann is a 3 bedroom 1 bath home with a 0.72 acre lot. 1344 Linda Ann is a 1 bedroom 1 bath with a 0.27 acre lot. Both homes needed some work to get them into shape. Our community of volunteers worked together in November to clean, paint and renovate the 1344 property for our center. Thank you to all who helped us with this project.
At 1344 Linda Ann there were lots of unexpected issues, like discovering tree roots growing underneath the shower tiles and leaking pipes. We had to rebuild the whole shower cement slab, fix the piping underneath the house where the shower used to be, and other things which delayed the work for several days.
