Tallahassee Chan Center hosted a series of single topic presentations from January–March on how Chan (Zen) principles apply to various health-oriented activities of our lives: nutrition, exercise and different forms of spiritually nourishing self-expression.

Introduction to Yoga and Chan, Pamela Hunter (January 13, 2024)

How to Work with Stress in Daily Life by Dewaine Rester (February 27, 2024)

Caregiving and Chan, Raquel Lambert (March 12, 2024)

Working with Addiction, Tory Street (March 19, 2024)

Our bodies are the form through which we experience and operate in the world, the concrete functioning of our mind.  We need to take responsibility for the body and maintain it in a reasonable state of health just as we take responsibility for the mind through the practice of Chan meditation and cultivation.
