Awareness Through Painting Fruits & Vegetables

Join Rikki Asher on Sunday, June 27th and July 11th for two afternoons of Watercolor Meditation Painting from home. Rikki has taught teachers aesthetic education courses at the Queens Museum, MoMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and many learning institutions. She was Director of Art Education and Art Education professor at Queens College, CUNY until 2018. She lives by, and teaches her philosophy regarding the importance of the arts in our lives. Rikki has been a long-time student of Master Sheng Yen since 1978, and leads meditation workshops and retreats at the Dharma Drum Retreat Center.

1 pad watercolor paper 11×15”  (Suggested pad: $9.75)

Round plastic mixing palette (Suggested set: $4.90)
#2 Pencil and eraser (Staedtler eraser Recommended)

1 White Crayon
2 Cups, Jars or Large Yogurt Containers for Water (not paper cups)
Small plastic spray bottle
Newspaper
A few pieces of your favorite produce
Paper towel or rag
