Full-Time Administrative Coordinator
The Tallahassee Chan Center is seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator. Depending on the skill set of the person hired, the duties listed below may be divided into two positions.

Position Description
The Tallahassee Chan Center (TCC) is a Buddhist facility that offers meditation sessions, retreats, educational programs, and Buddhist teachings. It was founded in 2009 and has been at its current location since 2017 in Tallahassee, Florida. Its founder and teacher, Dr. Jimmy Yu (Dharma name: GuoGu), is an associate professor of Religious Studies at Florida State University. The Center seeks a skilled Administrative Coordinator to help its operations run smoothly. The Administrative Coordinator reports directly to the President of TCC’s Board of Directors.
Job Duties
Administrative tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Board by calendaring, designing, and planning programs and events
- Coordinating retreats, talks, classes, and annual events
- Coordinating maintenance, subscriptions, and systems
- Maintaining files and databases
- Coordinating communications and mailings
- Managing websites and social platforms
- Stocking supplies and running errands
- Providing IT support for events
- Assisting with documents and materials
- Supervising the admin assistant
- Other duties as assigned
Salary and Benefits
The anticipated full-time salary range is $40,000–$45,000, commensurate with experience and education.
