3-Day Retreat: Finding Inner Stability in Uncertain Times

Upcoming Weekend Retreat in November
Building off a retreat format created by GuoGu, our Founding Teacher, this retreat will be more interactive than standard retreats. In addition to sitting and walking meditation, we will practice: Discussion of short written Chan teachings, Listening and responding to our fellow practitioners, Sharing life experiences related to practice The retreat will be led by Fran Berry, with assistance from Maria Williamson.
Retreat Schedule:
- Nov. 15: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Light dinner from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Nov. 16: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Includes lunch and dinner - Nov. 17: 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM

All meals served will be vegetarian. Registration includes meals as indicated above.
The Tallahassee Chan Center has a limited number of beds reserved for retreatants in gender-separated housing. Please make a note in your application if you wish to stay on site. We also have camping grounds for those who wish to stay on the 5-acre lot. If you wish to stay at the center before and/or after the retreat, please email us to make arrangements.
The first of the six paramitas is the practice of generosity, dana. Among the paramitas, generosity can be the easiest to fulfill; one can reap immediate benefits from it.
